about Me!

Hello! My name is Dionne Lopez, and I am a graphic designer, an illustrator, and a web designer.

I really appreciate the idea that we are in control of our lives. You can do anything if you believe in yourself, and work hard enough for it, although there is no out right formula to success because EVERYONE has a different story, so we have to figure out our own way down our own path.

Right now, I am a graphic design student. A poster I created for the 21st Bi-Annual Poster & Design Exhibit won first place for Best in Show and Judge’s Choice. The exhibit was planned out by my professor, Dan Mcelhattan III. He created it so that his students could show case their skills to the community, which I think is a great cause. My classmates and I helped to prepare the venue and the event was a great success, it was a great reward for the hard work we all put in.

Around May 2020, I will graduate with a dual major in graphic design and web design. In the mean time, I hope to learn from as many people as possible and hone in on my craft. For the rest of my life I will consider myself a student, because there is ALWAYS room to grow.

I want to explore and experiment more with illustration and animation since I’ve always been inspired by both. I really enjoy visual story telling that just make people feel happy and grateful, I would love to put more of that out into the world.
